Returns Information

When purchasing your items, please have a look at the sizing guides for accurate sizing. Should you have any queries regarding sizes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If on receipt of your product, you are uncertain about your purchase please keep your product in the original packaging until you have decided whether or not you wish to keep it.

Follow these steps to request a return:

  • Log into your account.
  • If you shopped as a guest – please login to the accounts page using the email address you ordered with (the system will retrieve your order details). A 6-digit code will be emailed to you in order to access your orders.
  • Select the relevant order.
  • Select “request return”.
  • Select the items you want to return and the reason for the return.
  • We will review the return request and contact you via email on how we will proceed.
  • If the order is approved, our logistics partner (ATRAX) will be in contact to advise you on the process for packaging and collection.
  • Once the item(s) is received back at the warehouse and inspected, your customer account will be updated, and you’ll receive an updated email notification.


Please Note:

  • All returns must be done within 30 days of receipt of your order.
  • Please note, that we only process returns if items have all tags attached, have no marks or stains and have not been worn.
  • The item must be in a re-sellable condition, unworn and unused state, except in the case of damaged or faulty items.
  • We offer ONE FREE return and will arrange the courier for you, otherwise we charge R125 handling fee.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • We organize the return and will arrange the courier for you.
  • Shipping of exchanges takes between 2-5 business days.
  • If we have delivered an incorrect, faulty or damaged item to you, we will arrange to collect and replace or refund the item, at our cost, as quickly as possible.
    • Please complete the defective item form online before returning the items
    • Returned damaged or faulty items that have been worn should be laundered before return, receipt of unwashed garments may result in your product being returned to sender.
  • If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, please notify us via the website and we will collect the product from you at no charge.
  • Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or refund you within 15 working days.
  • Gifted products can only be refunded to the original purchaser.
  • All gift cards are non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for the charges of the return shipping if a return is made on a promotional product (i.e. sales).
  • No cash refunds on sale products.
  • If you’re returning a sale product, the reduced price paid at the time of the transaction will be credited back to you in the form of a voucher (validity period – 36 months)
If you are not able to comply with these requirements, Maru reserves the right to refuse an exchange or refund on change of mind items.
If the return product(s) fails to meet the “returns criteria” as per the returns policy, the customer will be liable for the return shipping costs.
